Program Description:
This program focuses on how to integrate the DACUM rating scale when developing talent.  DACUM is an acronym for Developing a Curriculum and is utilized to effectively enhance employee performance.  At the completion of this sessions participants will be able to

  • Determine competencies and skills required of a given occupation
  • Apply the DACUM Rating Scale
  • Connect skill ratings to talent development program outcomes (employee development plans)

Facilitator bios
Drs. Hogan and Steinke bring 15 years of experience in Performance Improvement as practitioners, authors, speakers, consultants, and educators.  For the past 9 years, they have facilitated learning at the graduate level for Eastern Illinois University where they are Associate Professors and teach in the areas of Organizational Development (OD) and Training & Development (TD).  Most recently, they have been working with R.E. Adams, the originator of DACUM to publish the first available book (currently in press) on talent development using the DACUM system.  Hogan and Steinke have won numerous awards for excellence in the classroom - and beyond.
